| Februari 2010 Zoals u reeds weet, werd Chili getroffen door een aardbeving. Van onze contactpersonen bij Anakena hebben we begrepen dat het een ware nachtmerrie is geweest. Gelukkig zijn zij hier allemaal levend uitgekomen. Van Anakena ontvingen wij het volgende bericht; 'As you already know, Chile was struck by an earthquake on Saturday morning. All the Anakena team is ok, and I take this opportunity to thank you for your concern and support. We are currently evaluating the damages to our cellar; we do not have electric power, and we are not certain of when it will be restituted. We are also evaluating the status of our suppliers, in order to confirm the availability of dry supplies in the short term. Furthermore, San Antonio port is closed for the time being, which means that all shipments are being derived to Valparaíso port. Of course, this involves increased traffic and delays, which is why we ask you to consider longer lead times until the port is ready for operations again. As soon as we have more concrete news, we will let you know. Meanwhile, please don´t hesitate to ask if you have any questions.'
